Background Story: Sonny Bono was brought from a southern Missouri kill shelter to an Illinois rescue organization and put in foster care. We saw him listed during the early stages of the COVID pandemic, and we had just lost our dog to heart failure. It was love at first sight. He’s in his forever home and he knows it!!
