Keith Newton
About
Keith Newton joined Wine Spectator in 2005 and was promoted to assistant managing editor in 2018.
A native New Yorker who lives in Brooklyn with his wife and daughter, Newton is also a poet who studied literature and writing at Northwestern University and in the graduate program at Washington University in St. Louis. In 2006, he founded the online literary magazine Harp & Altar, which published a print anthology in 2010. In addition to his editorial responsibilities, Newton writes Wine Spectator’s values features, covering affordable wines from around the world. He makes really good cocktails and cooks nearly every night.
