The diverse terroirs of Languedoc and Roussillon deliver a range of exciting values among white wines, rosés and red blends based on Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Mourvèdre. And a large number of them are made with organic and biodynamic farming practices. In Wine Spectator's latest tasting report on the regions, associate editor Gillian Sciaretta reviews recent releases, most from the 2018 and 2019 vintages, both of which produced many excellent bottlings despite challenges. Get her full analysis, plus scores and tasting notes for recommended wines.
